BRENDA’S STORY IS ONE ABOUT TRANSFORMING HER HEALTH & LIFE THROUGH PERSEVERANCE, FAITH, & NEVER LOSING HOPE.
In Autumn of 2011, I began experiencing a constant pain in my lower-right side. I spent the next few years in and out of the hospital, with countless visits to the doctor, numerous tests and too many antibiotics to count. What was going on? I still felt awful and no matter what I did l was still in constant pain. I was so tired of being sick. With much prayer and perseverance, I decided to take my health into my own hands, which set me on a journey to be a holistic health coach and gluten-free practitioner.
After that experience, I began my education with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I have studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. I then went on to receive my training as a certified gluten practitioner with Dr. Thomas O’Bryan. He is a nationally recognized speaker and workshop leader specializing in celiac disease and gluten intolerances.
I then realized that my true passion was working on identifying food intolerances and correcting imbalances thats cause chronic symptoms and weight management issues. By identifying specific underlying factors like: health history, environmental triggers, chronic conditions and symptoms, food reactions and biochemistry- you will gain a system that will enable us to get to the root cause of your problems.
I knew that I would need to obtain a wide range of certifications; such as being board certified through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners- so I did. And I have continued my education with Holistic MBA and the Bioindividual Nutrition Institute. I specialize in healing diets with a comprehensive approach, using food and nutrition to best support biochemistry and chronic health conditions.
